The College Democrats of Washington express solidarity with our colleagues in the Spokane County Democrats and condemn the act of evidently politically motivated violence conducted against them. We are relieved to hear that no one was injured in the incident. Political violence and intimidation are not just an attack on any specific organization or people, but an attack on the fundamental values of our state and our country. We stand for democracy, political pluralism, and the right to express opinions without fear of retaliation, and we stand with all Washingtonians in saying that we will not be intimidated by those who would try to use such methods.
