ዋሽንግተን ዲሲ የሚገኘው የኢ.ፌ.ዴ.ሪ ኤምባሲ ዋሽንግተን ዲሲ በሚገኘው ስሚዝሶኒያን ሙዚየም (Smithsonian Musem) በተካሄደው የአፍሪካ ቀን በዓል አከባበር ላይ ተሳትፎ ያደረገ ሲሆን በፕሮግራሙ ላይ በአሜሪካ የኢትዮጵያ ልዩ መልክተኛና ባለሙሉ ስልጣን አምባሳደር ክቡር ብናልፍ አንዱዓለም፣ የሚሲዮኑ ምክትል መሪ አምባሳደር ክቡር አብርሃም መንግስቱ፣ ዲፕሎማቶች፣ የኢትዮጵያ ባህላዊ ምግብ አቅራቢዎች፣ የባህላዊ የቡና ስነ-ስርዓት፣ቅርፃቅርፆች እና ታዋቂው የሀገራችን የቡና ምርት አስተዋዋቂዎች በዝግጅቱ ላይ ተሳትፎ አድርገዋል።

የሚሲዮኑ ዲፕሎማቶች በፕሮግራሙ ላይ ታዳሚ ከነበሩ የኢትዮጵያ ወዳጆችና የተለያዩ አገራት ዲፕሎማቶች ጋር የግንኙነት መፍጠሪያ ተውውቅ አድርገዋል።
