On May 14, hosted ”Navigating U.S. Market Access for Indonesian Forest Products: Trade, Legality, and Sustainability”, a hybrid business forum bringing Indonesian and U.S. stakeholders face-to-face at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia.

From timber and plywood to furniture and engineered wood, Indonesian forest product industries explored pathways to strengthen their foothold in the U.S. market, navigating tariffs, Lacey Act compliance, CITES developments, and the growing demand from the U.S. supply chain.

The conversations were fruitful, the partnerships were real, and the opportunities are wide open.

Thank you to our co-organizer for bringing Indonesia’s forest governance story to the global stage, for coordinating and moderating this forum, and to all speakers, industry partners, and participants who made this a meaningful step forward.
