🔱🌊 Here are 's recent graduates of Aerographer's Mate (AG) 'C' School where they furthered skills in science and math to: calculate weather patterns; analyze data; and globally distribute forecasts to ships and squadrons--while providing accurate measures of air pressure, temperature, wind speed and sea state.

Blue Star Museums is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and museums across America, offering free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve.
The 2023 Blue Star Museums program begins on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 20, 2023 and ends on Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2023. More information can be found at the website attached along with a map of museums across the U.S.
Who is eligible for free museum admission through Blue Star Museums?
The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military–Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard–including Reservists, National Guardsman (regardless of status), U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five family members. Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card for entrance into a participating Blue Star Museum.
If you are a retiree or veteran, please reach out to the museum you plan to visit directly; many times they offer reduced or special rates for our retiree or veteran population.
A couple of the local participants in the Stennis Space Center area are the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico (Mobile), the National WWII Museum (New Orleans), and the New Orleans Museum of Art.

🔱🌊 Yesterday, the workforce-family held an All Hands Call led by Rear Admiral Ron J. Piret, Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC) who welcomed new employees and gave farewell to those headed to new opportunities! Piret also took time to address success and new priorities highlighted in the recent Defense Organizational Climate Survey (DEOCS) survey.
