El Excmo. Sr. Crisantos Obama, Embajador de Guinea Ecuatorial ante los Estados Unidos, ha recibido una visita de cortesía por parte de representantes de los Testigos de Jehová.

Durante el encuentro, ambas partes reafirmaron su voluntad de fortalecer la cooperación entre la comunidad internacional y la República de Guinea Ecuatorial.
La conversación abordó diversos temas de interés mutuo, entre ellos el apoyo a la educación, la colaboración en el ámbito sanitario y otras formas de contribución positiva al desarrollo del país.

Este encuentro refleja el compromiso compartido de promover el entendimiento, el respeto mutuo y una colaboración constructiva en beneficio del bienestar de la sociedad ecuatoguineana.

En el contexto de la Asamblea General de la ONU celebrada la semana pasada, una delegación de alto nivel encabezada por el Vicepresidente Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue asistió a un almuerzo de negocios con empresas estadounidenses de petróleo y gas, organizado por la Cámara de Comercio de Estados Unidos.
La reunión tenía por objeto promover el diálogo sobre las reformas en curso en Guinea Ecuatorial destinadas a mejorar el clima empresarial, incluidas importantes reformas fiscales. Además, las empresas estadounidenses anunciaron inversiones en nuevos proyectos en el país, como Chevron en el yacimiento de gas de Aseng.

In the context of last week’s UN General Assembly, a high-level delegation led by Vice-President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue attended a business luncheon with U.S. oil and gas companies, hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting aimed to promote dialogue regarding ongoing reforms in Equatorial Guinea designed to enhance the business climate, including important fiscal reforms. Additionally, the U.S. companies announced investments in new projects in the country, such as Chevron in the Aseng gas field.

EL VICEPRESIDENTE SE REÚNE CON EL MINISTRO DE ESTADO DE RELACIONES EXTERIORES DE LOS EMIRATOS ARABES
S.E. Nguema Obiang Mangue mantuvo una cordial reunión con S.E. el Jeque Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Miembro del Gobierno y Ministro de Estado del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos en la jornada del 27 de septiembre.
Ha sido en Nueva York, en el marco de las actividades del 79º Periodo de Sesiones de la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas.
Se trata de la segunda vez que ambas personalidades se encuentran, ya que mantuvieron una reunión en septiembre de 2023, donde ambos también coincidieron durante su asistencia a la Asamblea de las Naciones Unidas.

THE VICE-PRESIDENT MEETS WITH THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE ARAB EMIRATES
H.E. Nguema Obiang Mangue had a cordial meeting with H.E. Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Member of the Government and Minister of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates on 27 September.
The meeting took place in New York, in the framework of the activities of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
This is the second time that the two personalities have met, since they held a meeting in September 2023, where they also coincided during their attendance at the United Nations Assembly.

EL VICEPRESIDENTE VIAJA A MÉXICO PARA PARTICIPAR EN LA INVESTIDURA PRESIDENCIAL
S.E. Nguema Obiang Mangue ha llegado a Ciudad de México para participar en la ceremonia de investidura de la nueva presidenta, Claudia Sheinbaum. Lo hará a invitación del Gobierno mexicano y en representación del Jefe de Estado, S.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
Después de cumplir con su agenda de trabajo en la 79º Asamblea de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), en Nueva York, el Vicepresidente ha viajado hacia la capital mexicana. Previamente, en la terminal del aeropuerto Newark de Nueva Jersey, se ha despedido de los funcionarios de la Misión Permanente de Guinea Ecuatorial en la ONU.

VICE-PRESIDENT TRAVELS TO MEXICO TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION
H.E. Nguema Obiang Mangue has arrived in Mexico City to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the new president, Claudia Sheinbaum. He will do so at the invitation of the Mexican Government and in representation of the Head of State, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
After completing his work schedule at the 79th United Nations (UN) Assembly in New York, the Vice-President travelled to the Mexican capital. Previously, in the terminal of Newark Airport in New Jersey, he said goodbye to the officials of the Permanent Mission of Equatorial Guinea to the UN.
