🇵🇹 O Embaixador Francisco Duarte Lopes formalizou dia 29 maio, junto da Embaixadora do Panamá na OEA, Ana Irene Delgado, a intenção de Portugal aderir ao Protocolo do Tratado de Neutralidade Permanente e Operação do Canal do Panamá. Esta decisão demonstra o compromisso de Portugal com o multilateralismo e o nosso empenho na livre circulação marítima.

🇺🇸 On May 29, Ambassador Francisco Duarte Lopes formally conveyed to the Ambassador of Panama to the OAS, Ana Irene Delgado, Portugal's intention to join the Protocol to the Treaty Concerning the Permanent Neutrality and Operation of the Panama Canal. This decision highlights Portugal's commitment to multilateralism and its endeavor to maritime freedom.

🇵🇹No dia 14 de maio, o Embaixador Francisco Duarte Lopes e a Chair do Comité Executivo da Comissão America250, Rosie Rios, assinaram o Memorando de Entendimento de cooperação entre a Embaixada de Portugal e essa Comissão, no âmbito das comemorações dos 250 anos da independência dos EUA.

A cerimónia de assinatura foi simbolicamente assinalada com um brinde de Vinho Madeira.
