✨ Why Training Matters for Our Families ✨

At TLP and HH, we believe that strong families create strong communities. That’s why our trainings are such an important part of the program.

✅ Trainings give families the tools and knowledge to better support youth.
✅ They help build confidence and strengthen parenting skills.
✅ Most importantly—they help ensure our young people feel safe, encouraged, and ready to thrive!

When families grow, youth grow. 🌱 Thank you to all of our host parents who show up, learn, and lead the way for their children.

Becoming independent is a journey—and for many youth, having a stable, caring environment makes all the difference.

Host families play a vital role by:
✨ Providing a safe and supportive home
✨ Teaching everyday life skills like cooking and time management
✨ Encouraging education, career, and personal goals
✨ Being a source of guidance, encouragement, and belonging

With the support of host families in our program, youth are better prepared to step into adulthood with confidence and independence. 🏡🌱

If you or someone you know is interested in opening your heart and home to a young person, reach out. We’d love to share how you can make a lasting difference.

✨ What a Safe Environment Looks Like ✨

A safe environment isn’t just about physical space — it’s about how people feel when they are in it. Everyone deserves to be in a place where they feel secure, respected, and supported.

✅ Respect – People listen to you and value what you say.
✅ Trust – You can be yourself without fear of judgment or harm.
✅ Boundaries – Rules and expectations are clear and followed fairly.
✅ Support – You have someone to turn to if you need help
✅ Inclusion – Everyone feels welcomed and valued.
✅ Protection – No bullying, no harm, no unsafe behavior.

🌱 When people feel safe, they are free to grow, learn, and build positive connections. A safe environment builds strong communities, healthy relationships, and brighter futures.

👉 If you, or someone you know, can provide a safe and supportive environment for youth ages 12–21, we are looking for host families to join our program. 💙 Contact us via DM or email [email protected].
