The 2027 LEED for Cities Certification Cohort is now open for applications!

In partnership with Bank of America, USGBC is inviting U.S. local governments to join a national network of communities using for Cities as a strategic framework to measure performance, strengthen resilience, and turn sustainability goals into measurable results.

This cohort will be the first to use the for Cities rating system.

Program participants receive:

✅ Dedicated USGBC staff support
✅ Monthly peer-learning opportunities
✅ Educational resources and project management tools
✅ Public relations support upon certification
