In partnership with MEPI, Hight Atlas Foundation (HAF) convened a roundtable with 25 representatives from local CSOs, women cooperatives, and public institutions, to discuss the achievements and challenges of the new community initiatives launched by the local grant’s program beneficiaries in Dakhla-Laayoune Region. The program supported five community-based initiatives addressing local governance of different socioeconomic priorities such as the education system, environment and cultural issues, unemployment and healthcare services.

“As for Panda Express, I do enjoy it! It serves great Chinese food, and I love that it's open late, so it's a convenient option when you're craving something delicious after hours. In general, I like the food in the U.S.—there's such a variety. You can find food from different world cuisines, so there are plenty of options to choose from depending on what you're in the mood for!”

Nour's journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Business from the Lebanese American University (LAU), where she received recognition for her commitment to service and dedication by receiving the prestigious Rhoda Orme Award.

The Tomorrow's Leaders Program sparked Nour’s passion for learning. She went on to pursue a Master of Arts in International Development and Refugee Crisis Management at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service.
