The Mayor’s Office of Gay, Le***an, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Affairs provides constituent services and information to the GLBT communities through community outreach, public education activities and advises the Mayor and the DC Government on the needs of the GLBT residents of the District of Columbia through technical assistance and training.

DC Community Leaders and our amazing LGBTQIA+ community joined Mayor Bowser to kick off Pride Month with the annual LGBTQIA+ Flag Raising Ceremony at the John A. Wilson Building. Now in its fourth year, this tradition reaffirms DC’s commitment to equality, visibility, and opportunity for LGBTQIA+ residents. Walk with Mayor Muriel Bowser in the Capital Pride Parade on Saturday, June 20! Join us as we continue our celebration of 20 incredible years of the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs, and our work uplifting LGBTQIA+ communities, building safe spaces, and championing a legacy of love, equity, and pride.
Lineup starts at 2 PM at 14th & U Streets NW, and we step off at 3 PM.
All LGBTQIA+ community members and allies are welcome! Come march, strut, dance, and show out with Mayor Bowser!

Mayor Bowser and the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs will kick off Pride Month with the annual LGBTQIA+ Flag Raising at the Wilson Building. This year’s ceremony holds special meaning as Mayor Bowser runs through the tape and we continue our celebration of the 20th anniversary of MOLGBTQA and two decades of progress, visibility, and community leadership in the District.
