Republicans for Black Empowerment For over 40 years, black voters have staunchly aligned themselves with the Democratic Party on Election Day.

Republicans for Black Empowerment, unlike past years, is giving consideration to being involved in this year's presidential election.

As many may not know, the organization was established in late '03 or early '04. Given that the GOP underwent several ideological iterations during this period, RBE lost steam, becoming more or less inactive.

While the organization was founded not as a mouth piece for the Republican Party, it did strive to promote the GOP's founding principles and toward creating a vehicle for right of center independent thinking folks.
