Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Every day, law enforcement professionals carry out complex, demanding and dangerous missions in service to the public. They work tirelessly under challenging circumstances, responding to emergencies, investigating cases, preserving national security and supporting victims.
These officers and agents put in long hours, face grave personal risk, and carry tremendous amounts of responsibility. Despite doing an often-thankless job, they keep showing up to protect the communities they serve. Therefore, MSPD would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every single officer at MSPD, and all other law enforcement personnel in the United States, for what you do to protect and serve your community. You are all heroes and you have our upmost respect.
