Castillo
We lost a brother yesterday. Not only a brother but a husband a father and one of the greatest firemen I’ve ever known. It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of Jesse Castillo. Jesse and I came up in the fire service together and he has always been a man that strived to improve himself and others every day on and off duty. He has been a great help in my career and in my faith in the time I was blessed to know him. Please be in fervent prayer for his family at home and his family in the fire service as we all work through this time of sorrow. Jesse loved the fire service but he also loved Christ Jesus and it is with joyous anticipation that I and many others look forward to seeing him again embraced in the arm of our savior Jesus Christ. Times like this affect each of us differently but if you have faith in Jesus Christ know that Jesse is only removed from us for a short time until we meet him before the throne of God. I pray that you would check on a brother whether in the fire service or not. Whether you knew Jesse personally or not I pray that you would learn more about him, about his faith and the assurance he has in Christ Jesus. Attached there is a link to donate to his family to help them through this time of mourning as well as the love link in our bio. As we all contemplate the short breath of life we are each given and the shorter time we have in the firehouse I pray we would each seek to leave the fire service and this world better than we found it each day as Jesse did. I pray that each of us would love the fire service as much as Castillo did and love Christ more as Castillo did. Again please help in any way you can as the Castillos mourn the loss of Jesse. https://gofund.me/6b4832520

Sincerely, Tom Lawless
