Last week, our Owls walked the blue carpet in their blue and gold, collected their "I Was Counted!" stickers, and celebrated all day long.

Thank you to our students, families, and staff for making it such a special day. 🦉

Language learning grows throughout elementary school at Meridian. Every elementary student receives 45 minutes of weekly Spanish instruction through full-immersion classes, building on the bilingual foundation started in PreK. Through conversation, vocabulary, and cultural exploration, our students develop real confidence as communicators in two languages, a skill that carries them well beyond our classrooms. 🌎💛

Our elementary students are diving into music this month, starting with the most basic building block: the beat. With Mr. Marlon guiding the way, students are using drumsticks to find and match the beat that drives every song. It's a great beginning-of-year activity that builds hand-eye coordination, impulse control, and the ability to follow instructions, all while having a great time. 🥁💛
