DC Students Speak (DCSS) is an organization that advocates for the rights of college students in the District of Columbia.
DCSS seeks to give students a voice through involvement in local politics. University students represent 15% of the District of Columbia's population. However, we're grossly underrepresented as Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners, only holding 7 of 276 seats (a 250% increase from last year, where students held only 2 of 276). DC Students Speak - CUA supports legislation that will keep our loan interest rates down!
Students protest for lower loan rates College students deliver more than 130,0000 letters to the Capitol calling on Congress to keep student loan interest rates from doubling.
