Please put these two dates on your calendar: March 7, and March 14. Plan to participate in the upcoming nonpartisan DC Women in Politics (DCWIP) Candidate Debates and Preference Poll only for women candidates, to support women winners.
Due to the fantastic number of women running for office in DC this year, we will hold two Debates: March 7, 2026, and March 14, 2026. Candidates competing for nearly every public office in the June 16th Primary and Special At-Large Election will be coming together to address women and family issues.
The Debate on Saturday March 7, 2026, 1:00pm - 4:00 pm will include women candidates for:
Council of the District of Columbia Chairman, Ward 1, Ward 5, Ward 6, and
Mayor of the District of Columbia.
The Debate on Saturday March 14, 2026, 1:00pm - 4:45pm will include women candidates for:
Delegate to the House of Representatives, and Council of the District of Columbia At-Large (Primary), At Large (Special Election).
