TOMORROW: We invite you to USIP's December Open House from 10am to 4pm EST!

Attend a storytelling session at 10:30am, 11:30am or 2:30pm to learn how different faith and Indigenous traditions focus on peace at this time of year. Or, join a guided tour of the Peace Trail on the National Mall at 12pm or 4pm to learn how themes of peace are embedded in memorials and monuments near our headquarters.

During International Education Week last week, two of our former USIP Peace Teachers, Jessica Culver from Ozark High School in Arkansas and Erin Sullivan from Cab Calloway School of the Arts in Delaware, presented at the National Council for the Social Studies' 104th Annual Conference in Boston, Massachusetts!

We are grateful for our community of middle and high school educators across the U.S. who are committed to educating young people about international peace and the resolution of violent conflicts.
