This week, the ONSE team joined millions across the country in wearing denim to honor survivors and spark conversations that matter. Denim Day reminds us that ending sexual violence requires awareness, education, and collective action. We remain committed to building safer, stronger communities for all. đź’™

Real solutions start with addressing the root causes.

The ONSE Pathways Program is designed to support residents most at risk by tackling the underlying factors that contribute to gun violence, while providing real opportunities for growth, stability, and success.

From workforce development to life skills and wraparound support, Pathways is helping individuals choose a different path forward—for themselves, for their families, and for their communities.

Because prevention is powerful. And opportunity changes everything.

Opening Doors. Creating Opportunity. Strengthening Our Workforce. 💼📌

We’re proud to reflect on a successful ONSE Pathways Program Job Fair—where purpose met opportunity.

This event brought together dedicated employers and Pathways Ambassadors who are ready to take the next step toward sustainable careers. Through subsidized employment opportunities, our employer partners are not only investing in talent—they’re helping to build safer, stronger communities across the District.

Pathways Ambassadors come equipped with real-world experience, industry-recognized certifications, and a commitment to growth. By opening their doors, employers play a critical role in providing the stability and support needed to turn short-term opportunities into long-term success.

To all of our employer partners—thank you for showing up, leaning in, and being part of the solution.

Together, we’re not just creating jobs—we’re creating pathways.
