Every day women find themselves in positions where their voices cannot be heard. One such place is within the American judicial system, where an individual's rights for due process should apply equally across gender lines. The Women's Truth and Justice Foundation ("WTJF") seeks to bring awareness and prompt further research into cases where female respondents in legal matters ranging from divorce and custody battles to domestic violence/control, were given disparate treatment.

"The law of unintended consequences" ....
Governmental Entities and Judicial Officials have the power to alter and destroy lives. They also have absolute immunity for any decisions made while acting in an official capacity. Therefore, they have no incentive to carefully consider the potential collateral damage or compounding ripple effects of their decisions. And the results prove what that costs the rest of us. Children are losing their mothers and fathers. Parents’ identities and personal histories are being erased. The logical end for many is what happens in the story below. At some point, the consequences are no longer unforeseen or unintended.
