ABA President Patricia Lee Refo sent a letter to Senate leadership today urging swift consideration of legislation just passed by the House to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act. Former death row inmate thanks God and his lawyers for his release after 30-plus years in prison 04/10/2021

Our Center for Public Interest Law colleagues in the ABA Death Penalty Representation Project placed the case and supported the pro bono lawyers from Crowell & Moring who secured the release of a former death row inmate earlier this week. The Death Penalty Representation Project truly embodies the ABA motto of “Defending Liberty, Pursuing Justice.”
