Brazil is expanding its ability to export soybeans, filling market demand from China previously supplied by the U.S. Do American farmers think they will re-capture this market when/if the current trade war comes to an end? H**p, anyone?

There is a word for direct payments to farmers to compensate for market dips: Socialism, anyone?

Pretty quiet here at the ol’ Senate Ag Committee, what with the Shutdown and all. Not a big deal. Farmers will vote Republican regardless.
