74th Troop Command, DC Army National Guard
74th Troop Command is a brigade level command of the District of Columbia Army National Guard.
It provides logistical and administrative support for nonorganic deploying MTOE units in the District that are not structured under another formation HQ.

The task force was formed at the request of the Metropolitan Police Department to provide crowd management and traffic control in support of the Women’s March on January 19 in Washington, D.C.

Change of Command, 74th Troop Command HHD
Capt. Lejuan Strickland, incoming commander, Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment (HHD), 74th Troop Command, District of Columbia Army National Guard, passes the flag to Sgt. 1st Class Scott Lichtsinn , HHD, detachment non-commissioned officer in charge, 74th Troop Command, during the change of command ceremony, Nov. 4, 2018, at the DC Armory. The passing of the flag from the incoming commander to the senior enlisted leader is his first act of command. Both the outgoing commander, Capt. Kenneth Rayner and Strickland gave remarks about the legacy of the unit and the need for continued success.
