Thank you to Sasha Taskier for hosting a gathering of friends, supporters, and advocates of Bread for the City for a meaningful conversation about the evolving needs of our community and how we can continue to show up for our neighbors. 💚

The conversation featured remarks from former Board President Paul Taskier, CEO, George A. Jones, and our Chief Program Officer, Mahogany Thomas who talked about the importance of continued community support, our Holiday Helpings food program, rising produce costs, and the impact of SNAP changes on the families we serve.

We appreciate everyone who joined us and to our supporters who make this work possible. Together, we can continue providing critical resources and care to our community. 🤝

📣 ATTENTION: HOLIDAY CLOSURE!

A reminder that both of our centers in Northwest and Southeast will be closed on Monday, October 12, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, October 13.

Giving back, one bag of food at a time! 💚

Our AAMC partners spent time with us this week volunteering in our food pantry, preparing and bagging groceries for our community members. 🥫🍊🍌
