We are reaching out to our community and asking for supplies. Funds are tight and our mission is invaluable, especially now.
Our mission is to maximize the quality of life for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community through programs that include housing, counseling, life skills training, and advocacy, aiming for full participation in society.

🎉 Deaf-REACH came together for our annual backyard celebration filled with good food, laughter, and community spirit.

This year was extra special as we dedicated our day program space as Nancy’s Place, in honor of Nancy — a cherished long-term member who passed away last January.

From sandwiches and cake to a magic show, it was a good day to celebrate. 9/5/25

At our annual BBQ, we held a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil the new sign for our day program space: “Nancy’s Place.”

This space is dedicated in honor of Nancy, a beloved long-term member who passed away this past January at the age of 93. Her warmth, feisty spirit and presence touched so many lives, and we are proud to celebrate her legacy in this lasting way. Today would’ve been her 94th birthday - she would LOVED today.

The beautiful sign was crafted by Deaf Root, a Deaf-owned woodworking company, making this tribute even more meaningful.

Big thanks to the Greater Bookland Intergenerational Village for partnering with Deaf-REACH to host an introduction to Deaf culture and sign language! It was an engaging and educational session. Everyone had a fantastic time and walked away with new knowledge and an appreciation for this vibrant community. 👏💙
