We are still thinking about this extraordinary initiative showcasing the R.O.A.D. (Reclaiming Our Atlantic Destiny) Programme, a highlight of exhibits featured at the Embassy during Passport DC.

R.O.A.D Programme Manager, Chereda Grannum states on the projects website, “The R.O.A.D. Programme was born from a simple yet profound belief: that the stories of our past—no matter how painful—hold the power to guide, heal, and transform. At its core, R.O.A.D. is about reclamation; not only of our history, but of our voice, agency, and identity.”

The R.O.A.D. Programme was unveiled to the diaspora and all visiting the Embassy at the Passport DC: Around the World Embassy Tour 2026.
