I’m honored to have been elected chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee.
I look forward to working with all of my Republican colleagues to craft commonsense, conservative policy on behalf of the American people! 🇺🇸

President Biden and his administration have pursued a slew of actions that have driven energy inflation and threaten to send prices even higher, from canceling the Keystone XL pipeline and banning new oil and gas leases to pursuing even more massive, costly regulations.
With home heating costs expected to rise this winter and squeeze budgets even tighter, the solution to help families is simple: end Democrats’ war on fossil fuels and unleash the production of American energy.
Winter is Coming! And With It High Heating Bills As temperatures begin dropping across the United States, the forecast is for families to pay more to heat their homes this winter. After nearly two years in control, President Biden and congressional Democrats are still pushing their failed energy policies that set off prices and contributed to reco...

President Biden made a simple promise to Americans in his 2022 State of the Union address: “under my plan, nobody – let me say this again – nobody earning less than $400,000 a year will pay an additional penny in new taxes. Not a single penny.”
The Democrats’ latest reckless tax-and-spend law violates that pledge.
How the $80 Billion Democrats Gave the IRS Hurts Taxpayers When Democrats united to pass their latest reckless tax and spending spree last month, one of their main goals was to dramatically increase funding for the IRS. The so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” increased the agency’s budget by nearly $80 billion. Most of the money is reserved for audits...

With prices soaring, it’s no surprise that a recent Gallup poll found that 56% of Americans say inflation is causing financial hardship for their family. The figure was higher – 74% – for people in households making less than $48,000 per year.
Democrats' Inflation Hands Workers A Pay Cut Painfully high inflation is stretching American workers’ paychecks thin. Inflation has soared during President Biden’s time in office, up 13.2% since January 2021. It’s so bad that it is eclipsing workers’ pay gains. President Biden recently tried to minimize the impact of inflation, saying: “Guess where we are? We’re in a position where, in the last several months, it hasn’t spiked.” Americans suffering under months of 8+% inflation would hardly call that a success.

After Democrats passed legislation last year that led to record inflation and pushed us toward a recession, their next priority was spending $80 billion to audit and investigate American workers.
Once again, Democrats are showing they have no real ideas to ease the economic struggles of families around the country.

One survey from July found that 71% of workers said their cost of living is going up faster than their pay. That’s up from 58% who said so in February.

Democrats bragged their legislation will improve customer service at the IRS, but they only allocated 4% of the spending to actually assist taxpayers. Democrats allocated 57% of spending to increase audits, investigations, and other enforcement.
