We are undertaking a heritage project on the Australian Residence in Washington, DC which, after more than seventy years of our occupation, has much Australian and Australian-American history behind it.

Already a substantial collection of photographs, notes, menus and other memorabilia is flowing in. This note is for all who may have visited, resided or served as staff in the Residence. Could you please send us anything you might have to add to the collection. Photographs, menus, correspondence or notes of memories would all be very welcome.

We need to gather all this information in the next couple of months so that we can finish this project before the end of the year. Therefore it would be really useful if you could look at your records soon. Of course, when the project is complete, we intend to finish it in such a way that it will be possible to add to it in future years.
