The Kennedy Political Union will host Joseph C. Daniels, founding president and CEO of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, for a conversation reflecting on 9/11 twenty-five years later. Daniels brings a perspective shaped by leading through intense public scrutiny while building one of the nation’s most significant civic institutions. The program will explore leadership under pressure, remembrance, terrorism, democratic resilience, and the lessons institutions can draw from moments of extraordinary challenge.
Joseph C. Daniels is a national leader known for his work on leadership during times of crisis, resilience, and rebuilding public trust. Daniels worked closely with victims’ families, survivors, first responders, elected officials and a board chaired by Mayor Michael Bloomberg to transform the Ground Zero memorial site into one of America’s most significant civic institutions. Today, he speaks and writes about leadership, terrorism, antisemitism, and democratic resilience.
