On this , we remember and reflect on the 2001 attacks at the & and in .
Ordinary Americans performed extraordinary acts of .
First responders rushed into crumbling buildings and raging infernos to save others.
Passengers and crewmembers gave their lives to thwart a 3rd attack.
A new generation of women and men joined our Armed Forces to defend our freedom and democracy.

All remind us that we are a great country; that Americans are resilient and united against terrorism.

JWV asks all Americans to pay tribute to the and who died on September 11 and recommit to the spirit of unity, patriotism, and service. Recall the mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters who became national heroes.
