I am relieved to hear that my colleague Congressman André Carson and his staff are safe and I am indebted to our great first responders on the front lines working to protect Hoosiers and all Americans.

I am monitoring the situation involving suspicious mailings targeting elected officials around the US.
While safety is always a top priority, my offices remain open, and we will continue serving Hoosiers in Indiana’s 8th District, whilst taking precautions regarding the mail.
