December 28, 1908 Engine Company 21 and Truck Company 9 were organized and placed in service at 1763 Lanier Place N.W.

Engine 21 went in service with a 1907 American La France Metropolitan 700 GPM steam fire engine and a 1908 American La France 70 gallon combination chemical/hose wagon. Truck 9 was placed in service with an 1891 LaFrance/Hayes 85' aerial ladder truck.

We will arrive at the District Wharf in Washington DC on Saturday, September 19th at 11am. As you know, we will be honoring Alex Graham. Approx 68 Square Miles.... of those we have 21 DCFD members with active cases who have been taken off the streets and almost 200 quarantined. (and rising) 1 out of every 28 cases are the fire and ems members who are trying to help you. Please Help Us - Help YOU by washing your hands and distancing yourself from one another.

Awhile back, Ruck for the Fallen helped start the journey to deliver an American Flag organically from Texas to Washington DC. The flag is handed off from one location to the next , slowly making its way to its final destination in DC. At each fire department members would sign the flag in remembrance of our friend Alex Douglas Graham who passed away. Please follow the journey and the group!
