Here are some early photos of the original model design of Mount Rushmore National Memorial and the project during construction. I think in times like these the discussion should also include what monuments to add, not just what monuments should be taken down.

Inspirational.

Many are saying the Obama Legacy will be destroyed as a result of this election, however the fact remains that for the first time in our countries history a black man was elected President, and then re-elected for a second term. That in itself is a legacy no one can take from him and it is an inspiration for future generations of minorities.
