The Embassy of Malta to the US participated in the European Union in the United States's Ambassador's Book Collection event in commemoration of America 250. The book that was donated from the Embassy's side is entitled 'Diplomat by Destiny' which is a memoir that details Former Ambassador George Saliba's (one of Malta's most seasoned diplomats) 25-year career representing Malta in major capitals, namely the US towards the end of his career. It is always a pleasure to place the spotlight on Maltese talent within the US.
Ambassador Godfrey Xuereb also wrote a note highlighting how the book showcases Malta's excellent relations with the US throughout the years. One of the copies of the book has now been donated to the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. through the same initiative🤝 🌎
