The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has finalized Transparency in Coverage reforms that reflect several ASA recommendations including:

✅ Eliminating misleading "ghost rates" that distort physician payment data
✅ Creating new utilization files that identify physicians who are genuinely accessible to patients
✅ Improving standardization and usability of transparency data
✅ Better aligning reporting requirements with the No Surprises Act
