Our very own and very special Ann Spieker. She not only has been blessing the community with answering response calls for 45 years, she's been a true mentor and trainer to hundreds of volunteers. We love you Ann. Thank you for your dedication.

Ann Spieker has been answering fire and rescue calls in Rappahannock County for a long time. So long, in fact, that back in the day, she rode in the back of a station wagon equipped with just a cot. Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Foothills Forum

Today is the day! Give Local Piedmont is live and off to a great start! If you’re able, consider supporting our department and the dozens of other great nonprofits that serve our community!

Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue has been proudly serving the community since 1939. WVFR is proud to be one of the few remaining all volunteer fire and rescue companies in the area.
