At today's Rotary Club meeting, Rotarian Haley Liming arranged an informative presentation about The Villages at Oak Ridge, giving members an opportunity to learn more about the facility, its services, and its commitment to quality care.
One of the highlights was learning that The Villages at Oak Ridge recently earned the highly respected accreditation from The Joint Commission! What a tremendous accomplishment—congratulations to the entire Oak Ridge team!
Opened in 2015, the 114-bed facility currently serves 112 residents and employs 115 dedicated staff members. Oak Ridge offers a wide range of services, including adult day services, assisted living, and memory care, providing valuable resources and support to individuals and families in our community.
Haley also introduced Executive Director Sara Walls, who brings an impressive 44 years of experience in long-term care. Sara's connection to the profession began at a very young age, when she accompanied her mother to the facility where she worked. From those early days of walking the halls as a toddler to a lifelong career in long-term care, Sara has truly dedicated her life to serving others!
Throughout the presentation, members gained a better understanding of the many services available at Oak Ridge and how individuals and families can access them.
A special thank-you to Haley for arranging such an interesting and informative program and for bringing members of the Oak Ridge team to share their knowledge with our Club. We appreciate the important work you do in our community!
And, as always, thank you to Bobe's for another delicious lunch and for providing such a welcoming home for our weekly meetings!
