Today is National DAF Day!

If you don't know what a Donor Advised Fund is, you're in luck, because we are here to help. In short, a DAF is a tax-advantaged charitable giving account, basically like a 401(k) for giving. DAFs are incredibly effective at increasing your giving capacity and they make giving easy!

We loved celebrating 20 years of impact in Washington County at our Alive After 5 event! ✂️🎉

For two decades, the Community Foundation of Washington County has worked alongside generous donors and community partners to support the citizens and organizations that make our county a wonderful place to live. Childcare is workforce development. WEDG is proud be an investor in Creative Sprouts Champions, Inc. because we know communities can’t grow if families can’t find quality childcare.

100+ People Who Care, a Community Foundation of Washington County event, shows what can happen when people come together to make a real impact right here in Washington County. One hour, collective giving, and support for organizations doing important work in our community? We love it.

The power of local giving in action 💙

The Community Foundation of Washington County recently awarded nearly $60,000 to 24 local nonprofits—supporting programs that enhance education, healthcare, the arts, and more across our community.

Since 2006, over $586,000 has been reinvested right here in Washington County thanks to generous donors who believe in making a difference close to home.
