A New Flagpole Stands Proud at Waterford Rescue Squad

After our previous flagpole was knocked down during the winter, we are proud to once again have Old Glory flying in front of our station.

A heartfelt thank you to Brian Bruso and Waterford Beverage Mart / B**r Belly Bobs for generously donating our new flagpole through funds raised at their annual golf tournament. Your continued support and commitment to our Rescue Squad and the Waterford community are truly appreciated.

We are incredibly grateful for the businesses and community members who make projects like this possible. Thank you for helping us continue to proudly display the American flag at our station! 🇺🇸

It's been a busy week!

Waterford Rescue Squad Responds to Assist

Chief of Operations Tracy Weir and Paramedic Mike Cahill recently responded alongside the Waterford Fire Department, F.B. Peck Hose Company, Town of Waterford Police Department, and New York State Park Police to assist a person in distress near the water.

Calls like this require teamwork, communication, and careful coordination in challenging terrain. We are proud of Tracy and Mike for representing Waterford Rescue Squad and working alongside our partner agencies to help bring the patient to safety.

Thank you to everyone involved for the strong teamwork and dedication to our community. 🚑🚒💙

🚑 A Special Visit to Waterford Rescue Squad!

We were happy to welcome Brock Hathaway, founder of Hathaway’s Helping Hands, to our station! Based in Columbia County, Brock’s nonprofit organizes fundraisers and gives back to local first responders and others throughout the community.

Eric and Jazmine gave Brock a tour of the station, showed him around our ambulances and equipment, and shared a little about what we do here at Waterford Rescue Squad.

Thank you, Brock, for stopping by and for proving that helping your community doesn’t require a uniform, just a big heart and a willingness to make a difference. We enjoyed your visit! 🚑💙
