“The platform, called “Workers Deserve More,” focuses on shifting structural political and economic power away from corporations and into the hands of the working class. The DSA released the platform Tuesday, and includes extending full voting rights to people with criminal convictions and noncitizens, replacing the Electoral College with a national popular vote for president, and replacing the two-party system with a multi-party democracy. It also calls for expanding the House and abolishing the Senate.”

Gov. Ned Lamont’s income jumped to $54 million last year. Tax the rich is an empty slogan. They’re taxing YOU.

Most of Lamont's nearly seven-fold income increase was from capital gains. It doesn't represent a planned campaign budget, a spokesman said.
