The City of Elk Run Heights has some new pickleball courts open!

Last summer, BHCGA gave them a $35,000 grant to convert outdated tennis courts for pickleball, giving their citizens a chance to access a new outdoor recreation activity. They turned out great! We are sure they will get a lot of use.

Ground is officially broken on a new park in the Walnut Neighborhood adjacent to Downtown Waterloo! BHCGA is a proud partner of this great work happening - we can't wait to see it finished.

Highland Neighborhood in Waterloo is home to a unique collection of 50 historic street lights that serve as both functional infrastructure and vital links to Waterloo's architectural heritage. Over the decades, the fixtures suffered from significant weathering and technical obsolescence. To ensure continued safety and beauty in the community, their neighborhood association worked hard to fundraise and bring them back to their former glory.

BHCGA was a proud partner of the project, providing a $10,000 grant last spring.
