🍂 You know it’s October when…

Here’s to cooler weather, colorful leaves, and a great October from all of us at Reliable Sanitation! 💚

🗑️ BACK TO BASICS: TOTE PLACEMENT

A quick collection-day reminder!

Please place your trash tote:

➡️ Lid opening facing the street
🏠 Wheels and handle facing your home
↔️ Leave space around the tote so the truck can safely grab and empty it
🚫 Keep it away from cars, mailboxes, poles and other obstacles

Why does placement matter?
Proper placement helps the truck empty your tote completely and helps make sure loose trash and debris go into the truck — not onto the street.

A few extra seconds placing your tote correctly can help keep your neighborhood clean.

Thanks for helping our drivers do their job safely and efficiently!

REMINDER:
Closing Your Pool for the Season?
As summer winds down, please remember: NEVER put pool chemicals in your trash tote, dumpster, or roll-off container.
Pool chemicals can react with other materials in the trash and create a dangerous fire or chemical reaction, putting our drivers, equipment, and community at risk.
🚫 Do not dispose of chlorine, shock, tablets, acids, or other pool chemicals in your trash.
Please follow the product label and local household hazardous waste guidelines for safe disposal.
A little extra care can help prevent a dangerous situation. Thank you for helping keep our employees and community safe! 💚
