Watertown Fire Department

The Watertown Fire Department is excited to announce the launch of Medic 2 – the City’s newest Advanced Life Support ambulance in Watertown. Medic 2 will be officially launching on November 1, 2026, and we are welcoming the community to join us for this event at 11:00 AM at the Watertown Fire Department Headquarters at 99 Main Street.

Join us to hear remarks from Watertown officials, see the launch of the ambulance, tour the trucks and the latest state-of-the-art equipment used by the Watertown Fire Department, and enjoy light refreshments as well!

In the Spring 2025, the City Council approved funding to staff a second Advanced Life Support ambulance in Watertown with the goal of ensuring quick response times across the city, and to deliver the highest level of support needed to those living in Watertown. After months of recruiting paramedics and outfitting the truck, we are excited to bring this resource to the community!

We look forward to seeing you on November 1 at 11am to celebrate the launch of Medic 2 alongside our Fire Department, City Officials, and your Watertown neighbors!
