🚑 MMTC Emergency Services got out of the classroom today!

Our Emergency Services students spent the day at Delta Ambulance in Waterville, learning more about what goes on behind the scenes of a nonprofit ambulance service.

They got to see how an ambulance service operates, learn about the different roles within the organization, and hear about the ways Delta works with and supports the community.
It was a great opportunity for our students to connect what they’re learning in the classroom to what EMS looks like in the real world.
Thank you to the Delta Ambulance team for taking the time to show our students around and share your experience with them! 🚑

We’re only a couple of weeks in and our students are already hard at work. It’s been a great start to our year.

🛑 WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

Registration isn't just paperwork!

✔️ It provides MMTC with accurate contact information, consent forms, medical and/or educational needs.
✔️ Accurate enrollment supports Maine Department of Education funding.
✔️ Registration is required before students can participate in hands-on lab activities.
✔️ It helps ensure your student is ready to begin learning on day one!

🧰 HANDS-ON LEARNING STARTS WITH REGISTRATION!

Students cannot enter lab areas until their required online registration is completed.

⭐ REMEMBER: Being accepted or signed up for a program does not guarantee enrollment. Once enrolled, completing the registration process is required to solidify your student's seat in their chosen MMTC program.

Summer Update: Of the 32 students who finished the Pre-Nursing Program in June, 16 are now working in their communities as CNAs. This is a testament to the students, staff, and community who all helped to make this possible. We are building real skills, for real jobs. Congratulations to our 2026 Pre-Nursing graduates who are already making Central Maine a better place to work and live.

After a series of demanding clinical, curriculum and state exams, Pre-Nursing students were granted a much-needed respite. Under the expert guidance of Mr. Esposito and with the help of Gabe, Troy and Ryeko from the Outdoor Leadership program, CNA's mastered the techniques of fly-tying a Wooly Bu**er and casting a fly rod on Thursday. The group then had a fantastic day of fly fishing on the river. Total fish caught = 5, total fun had = priceless! Heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Esposito!
