Shoutout to our awesome partners! Little Pine is blessed to have so many wonderful people with creative minds, that bring races and events to the park to showcase its beauty and grit. Our partners not only work hard to provide the public with something fun and enjoyable, but they help us meet our DCNR mission to provide public lands for now and generations to come. We are so thankful for new opportunities and those who return year after year to keep our parks AWESOME! We can’t wait to host the Mountain Man Ultra next year… and all of our other races in the complex (Hyner Run and Hyner View, of course! 🙂)

Now that the dust has settled, we want to congratulate everyone who stepped onto the trail, and again, thank you for your support this inaugural year.

This race means a lot to us (RD & family). We hope it meant a lot to you too. I’m not sure the full extent of our gratitude can be put into words.

We’ve taken notes on some improvements to be made, and some additional fun for next year…

A beautiful, crisp morning at Little Pine 🍂☀️

Happy Labor Day Weekend! The lake at Little Pine has gone down since the rain that came through yesterday. While still up a foot or so, the boat launch is accessible as of today. A few reminders (you can also find this information on our website: https://www.pa.gov/agencies/dcnr/recreation/where-to-go/state-parks/find-a-park/little-pine-state-park/alerts)
- The beach at Little Pine State Park is closed.
- Our trails are open and awesome. :)
- No alcohol is permitted in state parks.
- Please keep your dogs on a leash at all times.
- If you want to use the shooting range and do not have a permit, you may purchase one at our park office at Little Pine; we are open 8-4 all weekend.

Finally, the pool at Hyner Run State Park is on its last weekend of the season! Unless otherwise stated, the pool will be open Friday (today), Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, all 11-7. Monday will be the last day of the season.

Due to another power outage, the pool at Hyner Run State Park is closed, likely for the remainder of the day. We apologize for this inconvenience, and we hope to open the pool tomorrow.
