Race This Weekend - Expect Traffic Delays

The GFNY race will be held this Sunday, October 25, 2026 during the hours of 8am-2:15pm.

Cyclists and pedestrians will be sharing the roadway along the pictured route. Motorists should expect extensive delays along the route during the race.

The following roads will be used for the route:
Altman Road
Rodeo Drive
West Main Street
Doyle Carlton Road
Vandolah Road
Alton Carlton Road
State Road 64 West
Murphy Road
Everett Whidden Road
S. County Road 663
N. County Road 663
Goose Pond Road

Sheriff Crawford is honored to announce our Telecommunications Accreditation Certification, which is the third area of accreditation for the Hardee County Sheriff’s Office.

The Florida Telecommunications Accreditation Commission establishes standards, oversees an accreditation program, and awards accreditation to compliant Florida Communications Centers in the law enforcement, fire rescue, and emergency medical services disciplines. Compliance with 93 standards is required for FLA-TAC accreditation. This level of achievement further proves the progressiveness and professionalism of the Hardee County Sheriff’s Office. Ensuring we provide the best level of service to our community is always our top objective.
