D.A.R.E. is back in Waukon, Iowa! ❤️

After more than 20 years, Officer Alyssa Rostad of the Waukon Police Department helped bring D.A.R.E. back into local schools last spring.

This fall, she’ll return to the classroom with fifth-grade students at East Elementary and St. Patrick School, continuing to help young people build confidence, resist peer pressure, and make safe choices.

We've received a report of a TikTok scam in which an account is posting properties for rent. The properties are either occupied or for sale. They are not for rent. The scammer is getting photos of the property (including interior photos) from other service providers (possibly Zillow). When an interested party reaches out to the scammer, the scammer requests funds through a rental application fee. Please use caution with all social media and with funds requests. This particular account appears to be based out of Singapore, so there is no way for law enforcement to track lost funds or further fraudulent activity.
