Christmas Cookie Coach

Join us for a delicious day exploring local favorites, sampling seasonal treats and discovering the sweet traditions that make this time of year so special. Our Christmas Cookies Tour will take you to some of the city's finest spots, including Aggie's Bakery, Scordato Bakery, National Bakery, La Nueva Bakery, The Bake Sale, and Grebe's Bakery. Along the way, you'll enjoy: A curated selection of holiday cookies and baked goods at each stop; Hot Ham and Roll Lunch at National Bakery; Insight into Milwaukee's rich baking heritage; time to shop for your favorite treats to take home, and a fun and festive atmosphere with fellow guests.

Depart the Senior Center at 9:45am and return approximately 5:45pm. Paid reservations are due no later than 11/10/26. Cost is $149 per person. Call 608-849-8385 for reservations.

October 1 – Waunakee Memory Café
The Dementia Friendly Waunakee Committee will sponsor its monthly Memory Café on Thursday, October 1, from 9:30-11 AM at the Steeplechase Condominium Clubhouse. The Café provides a social gathering place and programs for those with mild cognitive impairment or early to mid-stage dementia, along with their care partners.

Caring for a loved one comes with a lot of questions, and you don't have to navigate them alone. Stop by the Waunakee Senior Center's annual Caregiver Resource Fair from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, at the Waunakee Village Center. More than 20 local agencies will be on hand to share resources, answer questions, and connect caregivers with support.
