If you are secure in your own faith, heart and with your own relationship with the Divine/The Creator/God/Source than someone else's walk with Him will not be offensive to You. God is Love, therefore He is not jealous, the idea that He is jealous and needs people to bow in a particular way came from early man and their own need to be worshipped and bowed down to... the old testament is a testament to that - all the way through it; how many times does it seem to say to us, the children of Israel need and want a king... even after they are shown over and over how greed and the King's Ego can cause problems...? It seems to me that because, truly, the interpreters of God's will, in those days, wanted it to be them - they wanted to be the King, the Priest, the Leader, and some WERE those titles ; however, we are but children, and most have not evolved/grown up yet enough to let go of their little ego's that want to be right and want to be the "One"... and want to be the leader, the captain, the first in line... this is why we must be patient with each other, and tolerant, until the day that each one of us grows in our understanding and our relationship with the Divine (mlv)
