Fall Used Book Sale Happens Sat. Oct. 10 at Wayne's Cary Library
Book Sale this Saturday 9 to noon at the Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Rd, just off Rt. 133 in downtown Wayne. (Across from the library.)
Lots of books have been donated since the last sale. There are 2 bankers boxes of cookbooks in the kitchen, and the dining room table is completely covered with books about Abe Lincoln, Antarctica, art museums, boats and boating, religion, politics and more. We have filled entire shelves with new arrivals in biography, history, adventure and travel. All of the books are in very good condition. Some are quite old, but they are all new to us. As usual, the living room is full of fiction - all alphabetised by author. The small 50¢ paperbacks in the back hall (also alphabetised) are all new arrivals. And there are huge amounts of CDs, audio books and DVDs in the dining room to browse. Come and take a look. When it’s cold and dark outside, there is nothing better than settling down with a good book.
