Yesterday we kicked off our trip to Indianapolis for the National FFA Convention!

We started the trip by stopping at the Wilson Creek Battlefield and museum where the kids got to learn a little more about the civil war and how it impacted our nation.

Next we made a pit stop at Bass Pro where they got to walk around the first Bass Pro Shop that was ever built!

Our last stop for the night was the St. Louis Gateway Arch. We walked around the park took some pictures and stretched our legs before dinner.

Then it was to the hotel for the night to rest up for another busy/long day today!

So incredibly proud of these students! ❤️👏
Today, Rigyn Newsom and Bentley Brakefield competed in the Regional Greenhand Quiz, and both advanced to the finals! Out of the competition, Rigyn placed 10th and Bentley placed 8th! 🎉
These two have spent weeks preparing for this contest, and I couldn’t be more proud of the time, effort, and dedication they put into it. Their hard work and determination truly show what it means to be committed and strive to do your best.
Although they won’t be advancing to State this year, they have accomplished so much and should be incredibly proud of themselves! They represented our chapter well, and their hard work did not go unnoticed.
Congratulations, Rigyn and Bentley! You both did an amazing job, and I am so proud of everything you’ve accomplished! Keep working hard and reaching for your goals! 💙🌟

I am SUPER proud of these students! ❤️
Today was our Regional Opening and Closing Ceremony Contest, and these students showed up, worked incredibly hard, and gave it their all! Out of 10 teams competing, this amazing group placed 5th! 🎉
Although we didn’t advance to State this year, I couldn’t be more proud of these students and all they have accomplished. They demonstrated teamwork, dedication, and determination throughout this experience, and their hard work truly paid off.
The growth, teamwork, and effort these students showed are something to be proud of! They may not be moving on to State, but they have so much to be proud of. I am beyond proud of this group and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next! 💙👏

For our first contest we didn’t do half bad, the senior team placed second in their room, and the other two teams did a good job in competing! We also had two compete in the Greenhand quiz and they did a good job for their first time.

Parents of FFA members,
All meat sales products will be here tomorrow 9/22 and available for pickup after 3 pm. If you are unable to pickup at that time I will be at the ag building until 6pm on 9/22, and 9/23, and 5pm on 9/24.

Today the Wayne FFA chapter got to volunteer at the state fairs Agtropolis, though this experience they learned the meaning of helping out with something that is important to the public at the state fair, Agtropolis is a way to help the people learn more about agriculture and the importance behind it. Thank you to Dwight for volunteering to drive the other suburban we appreciate you and all you do for the chapter!
